It's been a while since someone has come up with a truly usable steel chastity device. There are many steel belts on the market, but they are extremely difficult to fit, expensive, and uncomfortable for long term wear. They also won't fit if you gain or lose a few pounds. Chastity penis prisons have become the tool of choice for male sexual bondage. The plastic CB2000, 3000, and curve are retail favorites. However, up until now, nothning made of steel has had the same popular appeal.
Enter the Fort. This device is made of solid stainless steel. It's not light. It weighs in at about 3/4 lb. It is surprisingly easy to fit and put on. You can easily do it yourself. This isn't true of many of the Fort's competitors. So, how does it work?
Fitting and Wearing the Fort
The Fort comes with five steel cock collars. Unlike any other device we have tested, the Fort's rings actually hinge open (see picture of Fort parts to see an open ring). That means that the ring, which will surround your cock and balls, does not have to be large enough for you to thread your balls and cock through a hole. This is important. The principle way that guys cheat with chastity penis prisons is that they work their cocks out of the back of the cock ring. If that ring is tight enough, pull out becomes nearly impossible. The cock cage fits into the ring using two guide pins and a locking pin. The space left for the balls to hang in front of the ring is adjustable. The cock cage itself is large enough for most any flacid penis.
The first step in fitting the device is to select the proper ring. Five are provided: 1 1/2", 1 5/8", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/8" inside diameter. The trick is to find the smallest ring that will fit without cutting off circulation. You should first try with one of the two largest rings. Open the ring by pulling apart with the hinge on the bottom. Thread your balls, one at a time, through the ring, pull tight so there isn't any skin behind the ring. Then, thread your soft cock through the ring. Be careful on the next step. Use a finger to keep any skin from getting in the way and slowy close the ring. It's pretty easy to pinch yourself, so take it slow and easy. Open and close the large ring a few times so you get the "feel" for how to avoid a pinch.
Next, hold the ring tightly closed and push the locking pin through the back to keep it closed. Next, try to get a finger between the ring and your cock and balls. If you can insert one, the ring is too large. Try again with a smaller size. Keep trying until you get a really tight fit. Now leave the ring on (with the locking pin - the one with the hole in it) holding the ring closed. Wear it for at least an hour. If you notice any pain or see your cock or balls changing color or getting cold to the touch, the ring is cutting off circulation. Try the next larger size. After you find the right size ring, it's time to fit the penis tube.
The penis tube is designed to fit over the cock and have the two locking pins (see parts picture) that are part of the tube assembly slide into the holes on either side of the locking pin hole on the ring. A small tube and two washers are in the parts bag. They provide space between the ring and tube to give your balls some space. If you try to put the penis tube on without spacers, you will get a nasty pinch. You can adjust how much clearance you leave by using different combinations of washers and tube. Some men can pull their cocks out of the tube if there is too much clearance. Most of us can't if the spacer tube and one washer is used.

The lock is not included
Once you have worked out the washer and spacer distance you want, you may need to adjust the guide pins. If you use the spacer tube and one washer between the ring and cock tube, the pins will not stick out from the back. If you just just the tube, the pins will stick out about 1/8". This isn't far enough to bother most people. If you only use one or two washers instead of the tube, the pins stick out quite a bit. If you are sure this is how you want to wear it, then you can use a hack saw to shorten the guide pins. If you do that, you should probably file the cut edges to make them smooth.
Review and Rating
Your reporter was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Fort. Many of the metal devices we have tried over the years have been very poorly designed and manufactured. We have had our share of scrapes and cuts from rough surfaces and sharp edges. The Fort is beautifully made. The penis tube is cast stainless steel with a nice "pebbled" finish on the inside and mirror polished on the outside. All edges are smooth. The design of the tube allows ample room for virtualy any cock and sits at a nice angle that makes it very easy to conceal the device under clothes. The rings are similarly very high quality and the hinges move smoothly. The device feels hefty and strong. You will know it means business.
We took our time with fitting. We started with the middle-sized ring. We could easily insert a finger between the ring and the body, so we moved down a size. This was a better fit, but we were surprised to see that we could get a finger in too, and we could see that we could get the cock out with some work. We moved down another size. This one felt really tight as we closed the ring. We were concerned that this might be too tight. However, after an hour or so wearing just the ring with the locking pin holding it closed, we found that blood was still reaching all parts and it wasn't painful to wear. It was impossible to get a finger between the ring and the cock and balls. It would be very hard, if not painfully impossible to pull out. Certainly, if we could pull out, we could never get back into it without detection
We thought it would be difficult to get the penis tube over the cock and then onto the guide and locking pins. So, we just pushed the cock head into the tube and then worked the guide pins into the ring and the locking pin. We used the spacer tube and one washer. We discovered by experimenting that this combination left no locking pins sticking out from the back, and the lock fit well into the locking pin.
It didn't take long to get the penis tube on, and locking was simple. Our cock didn't go all the way to the end of the tube. Yours might. But the fit was comfortable and our cock was safely out of reach. The first time we tried to get hard, it was clear that erection wasn't going to happen. Peeing standing up is possible, but can be messy. Sitting down and peeing is no problem. Staying clean is easy. There are large vents on the back of the tube and a slot in front. We squirted some liquid soap into the front hole and rinsed from front to rear in the shower. We came out nice and clean. We wore the device for a few days with no problems. We would suggest wearing it for 24 hours the first time, then remove the tube and ring and check for any irritation. You may need to use a larger (or smaller) ring. Trial and error will let you work that out. Once you have a safe, comfortable fit, you can wear it for up to a month at a time. It should be removed periodically to allow a through cleaning of both your body and the device. We recommend weekly airing out.
Our overall impression is that this is an effective male chastity device. Some men may be able to escape, but the rest of us will be very securely locked in. The Fort is very well made and is an excellent value.
